Valorie Curry Joins the Cast as Firecracker

Firecracker is set to be a major force in Season Four of the hit Amazon Prime Video series, The Boys. The character is described as a "fiery and unpredictable" Supe with a deep disdain for the government and Vought International, the company that created her. Curry, who previously starred in the Amazon Prime Video series The Tick and the Peacock series The Lost Symbol, is excited to bring Firecracker to life. She says that she was drawn to the character because of her complexity and her ability to challenge the status quo. "Firecracker is a really interesting character because she's not your typical superhero," Curry says. "She's not interested in saving the world or fighting crime. She just wants to burn everything down." Curry says that she is looking forward to seeing how Firecracker interacts with the other characters in The Boys, especially Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr). She believes that Firecracker will be a major thorn in their side in Season Four. "I think Firecracker is going to shake things up in The Boys," Curry says.
